Washcot is a Belgian company offering a washing, rental and delivery service for its self-developed nappies, with the sole purpose of providing a healthy, high-quality and comfortable alternative to disposable nappies. Choco’s brief? To generate a market presence for Washcot based on its own particular strengths and create an innovative, playful appeal.

Washcot’s strength lies in its passion for outside-the-box entrepreneurship and its focus on a personal approach. Choco translated this into an equally unique brand characteristic: Washcot as a smart challenger in the market, who focuses on delivering optimum care and comfort, while eliciting the biggest possible smile on the faces of babies and their parents.

Welcome to the world of Washcot!

The next step? To design a logo with a baseline. This led to the creation of the new Washy mascot, a cute, cheeky little raccoon with a snout in the shape of a nappy. Washy’s motto is now the feel good baseline ‘Happiness in small pants’.  Because your baby’s and your own happiness depends on the simple things in life … such as Washcot nappies. We then created an entire Washcot universe around this theme, with a surprising corporate identity in which warm ‘Washy colours’ mix with touching, loving photographs.

Finally, we developed the strategic basis, wireframes, design and text for a new, user-friendly website, which immediately immerses its visitors in the jolly world of Washcot. The website was produced by the team at The Connected Loop. And so, the new Washcot was more than ready to venture into the big wide world (and worldwide web) …
