Many of the students who enrol in higher education are entitled to a student grant. Which is good news, because studying can be quite expensive. In other words: a student grant helps you map your future. This angle also helped us along our way. As we set about developing the promotional campaign for student grants, in fact.
A new backpack, a laptop, course material... You need them all for college or uni and they all can be quite costly. In our campaign, we added a clasp enclosure of a purse to all these items, in order to make the link with the financing: because, with a student grant, studying becomes affordable, meaning money doesn’t get in the way of higher education for a lot of students.
Three illustrations by the artist and illustrator Musketon inform students that they’d be well advised to keep a student grant in mind. Straightforward, and therefore perfectly suited to the medium: mainly posters in and around schools for secondary and higher education. The contemporary illustrations are striking and colourful, and the sleek design appeals to the target audience.
The posters are the main medium and will be displayed in +/-1,400 secondary schools. They will also be distributed in higher education institutions. In addition, all sixth-formers will receive a leaflet, and the campaign will also run online. Good going!
