With a baseline like this, it’s no coincidence that VIKING was the main sponsor of Radio 2’s Garden Day in Bokrijk last Sunday. With thousands of visitors, Garden Day is the perfect setting to appeal to a broad public and create some liveliness around the brand.

The eye-catcher of the VIKING stand was the iMow robotic lawn mower. Under the title ‘you win, iMow’, every visitor was given a flyer with the chance to win their very own iMow. And how about this: the flyer itself could be planted in your garden after the event, as it was printed on a sheet of plantable paper.

In the week before the event, the popular Radio 2 female DJs, ‘De Madammen’, organised a daily Garden Quiz, in which two candidates competed to win VIKING retail vouchers worth no less than €1,200. At the same time, Radio 2 was broadcasting general announcements linked to the VIKING jingle.
