Choco has been the communication partner of choice for Mistral Home, a producer of bed and table linen, for several years. Having previously developed online and radio campaigns, the strategic choice this time focused on television, with major advertising slots on various channels. Demonstrating in less than 7 seconds what real enjoyment is all about with Mistral Home in your home was not an easy task…

Showing some tenacity, and then: pure enjoyment

With a baseline of ‘you will enjoy this for years to come’ this hard hitting campaign had to deliver. But showcasing this in 7 seconds? That required a bit of trickery, i.e. in this case fast forwarding to emphasize the contrast between the pressures of everyday life and the relaxation imbued by a cosy meal with an inviting table setting, and a good night’s sleep.

The advertising slots consequently first highlight a family busy setting the table or a couple making the bed for the night. Normally that takes a bit of time but with fast forwarding it only takes a good two seconds. Once the bed or table are ready the image switches to normal speed: time to relax and enjoy, even if it is only for four seconds.
