The Strategic Project organisation Kempen aims to achieve sustainable social innovation in all possible areas (ecological, economic, social, etc.) And they approached choco for the innovation of their positioning, name and corporate identity.
SPK is an innovation centre that wants to balance people, the economy and society in a sustainable manner. Connection between people across all boxes is essential. This quickly emerged from the DNA workshop with which choco started the project, and which formed the basis for the new brand personality of SPK: "The impactful discoverer".
Connecting with others and creating something new: the link with the new name 'Blenders' is abundantly clear. A blend can also be found in the logo and the corporate identity: choco chose an organic mix of colours and shapes to emphasise the name ‘Blenders’, and we included this corporate identity in letterheads, business cards and wall cladding. In addition, choco also provided a communication plan for the coming months.
We launched the new name and corporate identity during an event in Turnhout on April 16. To do this, we ran short films in which the employees expressed the unique position of Blenders themselves, interspersed with images into which we blended all the elements and characteristics of SPK into a new whole in a laboratory. After this teaser, the logo was unveiled, and an Ebru artist made unique visuals for the logo: in this technique, oil colours are mixed to form an organic whole. A suitable mix for a successful evening.
